Become A Member
The Greenville Woodworkers Guild is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion of woodworking through education, charitable projects, and community awareness. Use of the shop shall be limited to Guild sponsored group work sessions, Guild sponsored mentoring and training sessions, and individual member work sessions. Use of the shop is limited to Guild members only. Guild members may not use the shop for monetary gain or for commercial purposes.
A new membership includes an initiation fee of $200 per household and annual membership dues of $150, for a total of $350.
Family members 18 years of age or older, residing at the same address as a primary member in good standing, may obtain a badge and access to the shop for an administrative fee of $10 per person per year. The renewal date for family members will be the same as the primary member’s renewal date.
A building access key card is required for members using the shop facilities. Key cards may be purchased at the shop for $10 each.
A Guild membership badge will be mailed as soon as the application form and payment have been processed.
Effective May 1, 2018, all new members must attend a New Members Orientation prior to using the Greenville Woodworkers Guild woodworking shop or taking woodworking classes. Dates and times for these classes can be accessed on the Guild website after your membership is approved.
